As a follow up to our 14th Annual Day on the Hill, MN Second Chance Coalition is hosting a conversation with Kevin Reese, Founder of Until We Are All Free.  Kevin was originally scheduled to Keynote our Day on the Hill back in February and due to our mishandling of our agenda, we were not able to hear from Kevin that day.  This follow up conversation will make good on our commitment to Kevin to highlight his work and our partnership, as well as the commitment to our Second Chance Community who expected to hear from him back in February.  This conversational format with MNSCC Board Members will include hearing about Kevin's testimony and work, a discussion of relevant legislation, an intentional centering of folks currently experiencing incarceration, as well as a real-time discussion of what repair and restoration can and should look like when mistakes are made.  MNSCC recently updated our Mission, Vision and Values which center the values of healing, repair, accountability and belonging and we hope this conversation with Kevin illustrates the power of and commitment to those values.  We hope you can join us!
